We are dedicated to promoting the game of bocce to all local citizens, in order to enhance their social and physical well-being. As a non-profit, public benefit corporation, we utilize volunteers and community support to provide a low-cost activity at the Chico Bocce locations. We promote bocce without regard to race, age or ethnic background. And, we do make a special effort to meet the needs of the physically challenged and older members of the community.
A yearly membership fee of $10 enables you to play in all Chico Bocce sponsored tournaments and leagues. It puts you on our mailing list, detailing places/times of open play, pickup games and all events. It invites you to participate in an annual meeting to elect board members. Additionally, our club will help to provide funding for improvements at the public courts.
